Hi, i'm a newby. got a 04 gto a/t w/following mods. comp cam xr275hr-12
Duration: @ 0.050 lift intake 222 exhaust 224
112 degree lobe separation angle
lift: intake .566 exhaust .568
comp cam 7.4" moly pushrod
stainless work off road header w/flowmaster from cat. back
2800 stall torque converter
drang bag
rr stablizer bar
tune
362 rwhp
I am new to the hot rod world just started to get into this. All these specs don't mean anything to me because i don't understand it. I like to add more h/p , my goal is to get the rwhp to 400 or little over. My questions is i have been looking at the afr heads & dart head. I know the afr head is superceded by its reputation, performance, quality but i am also tight on funds. I can buy dart head for $1400 complete 205 0r 225 cc 62cc combustion chamber, chrom molly retainers 2.02 & 1.600 race series 1 piece stainless valves, erson spring set up to .600 lift,etc... but the afr costs $2200. Anyone out there know if the dart head is a good quality or not & will the dart spec work w/my current modification to gain least 30 h/p if i install the cylinder head? What can u tell me about the dart head. U can the the price difference is huge.

Any inout is greatly appreciated.

personally, i am a fan of afr, but i don't know enough to give you an educated piece of advice. i usually think that if there is a big difference in price, there is usually a reason for it, but that is just me. let us know what you decide to do with it, good luck
