If it were me, I would go with an Alpine head unit. They are good quality and very reliable. Most Alpines have the Ipod hook up these days, I think the cheapest one with Ipod connection I saw was 179 at cartoys.

You didn't say "indash" what.

What is it that you want?
CD, MP3, DVD, GPS?

$179 would get you a CD/MP3 player (possibly iPod control too).
The price goes up with with the other features.

How much do you want to spend?

indash Screen DVD, MP3, Nav + the only ipod video on the market so far.... Pioneer avic-d3. you will need to do some trimming of your dash, and use some body filler to make it look nicee but its worth it.

I Personally purchased an eclipse avn-6600. it does just about everything except IPOD video + it has 2 dvd slots, 1 of which I keep the nav disc in, so no need to take it out.

I'd say go with the Alpine IVA-D310. On ebay it can be had for under 1000. Comes with everything you've stated. Navi is an option but you'd have to get the module. I have the D300 and cant complain. But with the D310 you can see the title scroll on the face plate.

Kenwood DNX7100 does it all and can be had on the online auction side for a little less than a grand. I just installed one in my fiance's car and it's freakin sweet.
