Default It's running again

I finally got to take the cxar for a drive again. It has been down since last fall for a cam, heads, carb, intake and even a tranny change. Here is a short video I took yeaterday. It seems to be awful rich at idle, still. If the video doesn't have sound, you will have to click on "switch to windows media player".

Sounds great. Like the valve covers too. And the diamond plate valley covers a nice touch too.

Thanks, I tried it out Sunday afternoon. It pulls quite a bit harder than before.

Hey, it looks and sounds better in person. The diamond plates shinier too. Enjoyed checking out the ride today. Thanks. Jim

Thanks. You should post some pictures of your Blazer.
He has a nice S10 Blazer with a 2005 5.3. He found an engine with less than 100 miles. That thing should run forever.

It's the Edelbrock box. I unplugged the map sensor Tuesday night and it seems to be running better. Apparently it was advancing the timing way too much. I still need to change the primary jets. The carb is a 650 Speed Demon with #70 jets in the front. The cam is a one I got from a member here. I think it's actually a Comp XER grind. 224/228 581/588. I went with a non-lockup 3000 stall convertor and I'm not sure I will like that.
