ls2 swap in third gen camaro Questions???? I was wondering if there is any one that could tell me which oil pan that i need to use in a 86 iroc. i am putting a 05 ls2 corvette engine and t56. The pan i have has a front sump. Any other info on the swap would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need an F-body LS1 oil pan and associated parts. Check out www.thirdgen.org , there is an engine swap forum with an LSX sub-forum. Basically everything you see for the LS1 conversion will work with the LS2. A lot of guys have done the swap, so you should be able to find everything you'll need.
A couple of guys on here have done the swap to a 3rd gen, including me, but thirdgen is dedicated to it. Good luck!
