How many hard top huggers?
Just purchased a 99 Hugger orange M6 hardtop. I believe there was only 54 of them. Is this right? And if so, how do I find out how many came with medium gray leather? I want to get the number as small as I can. Can you blame me. Thaks for the help.

you can try writing to slp. or I think z28.com has breakdowns of these numbers for you.
They told me my car is around 1 of 35 produced.
'99 Hugger Orange, white leather, all options except traction control. Don't need the traction control since she never goes out in the snow, rain or wet pavement. AND has ONLY 15,000 miles on the clock. AND is ALWAYS garaged.

I know there was 54 hardtop m6's but I would sure like to get a smaller number. I think what GRB is saying is we are not going to get a smaller number as far as how many of those with gray leather and so on...

It was prior to 02 that SS numbers were broken down by all SLP options. For example we know there were 9 or so 1LE HOSS's (although the SLP Option order form I have for '99 does not even list 1LE as an option!) because that was an SLP option. We also know from the production numbers that 1 or 2 were A4's. Since GM installed the interior it was not an SLP option so I'm not sure how you would find that info. GM did know exactly how many and the configuration of every single SS they sent to SLP, I just don't know where the numbers are. I have seen leather/cloth breakdowns before but don't know where the numbers came from. Maybe somebody knows.
