Default Emissions readiness after battery disconnect

Hey, I'm going to need to take my OBDII emissions test in the near future, and I'm wondering approximately how long I should wait for all the readiness checks to complete. I had the battery disconnected for at least a couple hours the other day, and when I drive, it's for relatively short distances, 5 miles, occasionally 20 or so. Are the readiness tests things that take hundreds of miles and days to complete, or are a couple good, varied cycles all it will take? I currently have the rear O2s, EGR and AIR tuned out. Thanks.

Generally speaking you'll need at least 4 drive cycles, about 15-30 miles each, with VARIED driving (highway style on 1 cycle, city style driving on another, stop and go, etc) If you hit around 5 cycles, 150 miles you should be good to go.

That link above is perfect.

IF you DO have a tuner, then the drive cycle is BS. just have him/her flash the car and then get it inspected and flash back after inspection. have a great day! lol

Are you sure about that? You won't get a "not ready" reading for the readiness monitors, thereby failing emissions?

No, I just did the tuning for the RTs last week and it worked perfect. I found the drive cycles took forever. It can be done with LS!edit, HP, or EFI. Just do a search in readiness tests. All the info is there from ZL1Killa or myself. These 2 links will do it.
