My 1984 Chevy 1ton truck w/ 454 has power steering pump with remote reservoir this also acts as a hydro boost pump for power brakes, there is one high pressure line going out of the pump to the hydro boost and then on to the steering and there are two low pressure return lines coming back to the pump one from the steering box and one from the hyroboost behind the master cylinder. The pump has two fixed tubes to accept the low pressure return lines.
Question does it matter which line goes to which return barb?

Also new pump seems to whine when applying a load to brakes or steering do i need to bleed air out or?????
