Default Code P0106 question

I got this code a long time ago when my intake was missing a bolt. I replaced the bolt and no problems.

Now a friend is having the same code but he is not missing a bolt and they are all tight. So, what else can cause this code?

Any cam with significant intake port reversion, which causes the MAP to jump all over the place at idle/off idle, can set this code. My Torquer does this. You can adjust the MAP thresholds for setting the code, or if you're lazy like me you can just kill it entirely.

Sorry to bring this back, but I believe my Torquer v2 is causing my p0106 problems. Is the V2 (232/234 .595/.598) a large enough cam to do this? What are the specs on the V1? I've been over the car 3-4 times and can't find a leak anywhere.

Thanks!!

I had two freinds with cams in that range on 346 ci motors that had the issue. Change the parimeters and call it a day. That way it wont trip the code
