Exclamation drivers side 02 not connected to anything??

Ok I have a 2000 trans am ws6, and I was under the car changing the rack and I figured I'd clean up the oil going down towards the back of the car and I noticed that the o2 sensor was wrapped up in a bag and not connected to any thing and was tie strapped up to something on the floor board. All my exhaust is stock except for my cat-back. Shouldn't this be causing some codes to be thrown.

Does anyone have a clue? Shouldn't this be throwin a code or something? Its not hooked up to the little connector but the 02 sensor is in the xhaust pipe, but the cable coming from it is in a bag with a rubber band around it,, noone thinks it should be throwing a code or doin something? Should I reconnect it? (I have no codes or ses or service engine lights on

if its a rear 02 sensor and your car isnt throwing a code then you car has a tune on it, where the rear 02 sensors can be deleted
