Hello from Florida
Hi, I'm new to this forum. Been reading it for a while. I'm not new to building/racing cars. I just bought a 2002 B4C ex- Fla state trooper car to drive around and build up. I wanted an 02 Z28 when they were new but couldn't afford it at the time. Now it's time to build another toy.

FHP cars are all black except the roof and deck lid. Those have since been painted back factory onyx black. It looks like any other black Z28. It's titled as chevrolet special service coupe, under model it says police. Of course, when you give the vin to the insurance it comes up Z28.

I saw two state trooper car on the back of a trailer one day. I ended up running into them at advance auto and my friend who was a locksmith opened one of the cars that was locked for the guy who bought them. I believe they were south carolina state trooper car's though. They had the same color lay out as out as our FL state toopers though. What was weird was when I saw them on the road I thought the tan was primer and they were getting re painted. When I got up close the guy explained they roll on a black epoxy to cover the highway patrol labeling. He said it is a bitch to get off and would be easier if they just rattle canned over the label's so that repainting them was not such a chore.
