Default Bigdog's Wagon

Well five months later and one caprice classic wagon and one 2003 5.3 vortec. It's finally done and I just love it. What a sleeper.

Had to cut and box-in the front cross member, cut down the trans dap mounts because they ran into the ac pump and make spacers to lift the engine up a little. Weld a longer bracket forward on the tranny cross bar. I also want to thank all you guy's, Spalding Auto in Washington and John at Spear Tech.

Your install looks nice and clean. Any plans to get some cool air to the filter?
What are you running for gears in the **** end of that boat/battlecruiser?

Default Cool air

Yes one of my plans is to extend the tube over to the right side and out to the front. The bigamus boat has a 2.77 I've been having fun embear assing some suv's and rice burners. You have to know when to hold them and fold them.

Nice swap. Just curious what was interferring with the cross member? Oil pan or accessories?

AC ran into the cross member. Had to spacer the engine up about and 1.125. Truck oil pan had about a .5 clearance when done. Had to cut flanges off of the exhaust manifolds and turn them to clear the side frame rails.
