The stock Caliper is 11.8", I believe. The larger C5 rotor is 12.8. Without any bracket to extend the caliper outward, the stock caliper will interfere with the larger rotor. The only way to go about a larger rotor is to extend the caliper outward. UMI sells a great bracket for 239.99.

The link on the bottom is from the "Brake FAQ" sticky. There are some options for big brake kits and also the C5 brake conversion brackets from UMI Performance and LG Motorsports. If you are looking to go on the cheap you can get the LG bracket, new pads, c5 rotors, and get it flushed. $(400+ depending on pads and rotors). Otherwise go with the UMI kit for about $750 with everything included.
