Default My friends 87 Formula

My friend nick has been doing a really nice job on his 87 formula.

Engine: I dont know every particular, but its a LS1/T56 with forged rods and pistons, ported and .020 shaved heads, comp xer281hr (232/234 .595/.598 112). Some nice stainless headers. He will be running a 200 shot for now, once he grows a pair he will jet up.

Misc: PA racing tubular K, KYB adjustable coil overs, 6 point cage.

Im sure there is more but I dont feel like remembering everything else. He did a nice job of stripping the car, repainted the entire shell and got new bumpers. Its a little more put together right now, but I dont have pics of it. It should be running by the end of summer.

enough jibber jabber, pics:

Looks like the Home Depot Rotissere Special... If I ever do a complete strip down of my TA, thats what Ill be building. For the amount of money and time it takes to build one of those, working on the underside of the car and all is soooo much easier.

Someone else over on thirdgen.org built one of those as well. They seem to work great!

I want to see more pics of the car!

Man, you have real guts. I couldn't think of doing that in my driveway without fines, shotting, or something. Looks flatout awesome! Props to your determination. Popular Hotrodding or Hot Rod would love to feature you.
