I was expecting to see a Katech dual throttle body intake manifold from the C5R race program. I was wondering how the hell you got one...LOL...glad to see you used your smarts to source a different kind as I expect Katech is keeping a tight grasp on the manifolds from their race program.

The class I race in is limited to a cast manifold single throttle body. Otherwise I would have a sheet metal on it.

C5-R is yesterdays technology. We could sell one if somebody actually wanted to put up the dough. The LS7.R (C6.R's engine) we can't sell.

This makes no sense at all. If it's "yesterday's technology" to you then it is worthless to you. Why would you ask such a high price for racing "junk"?

How many C5R racing manifolds were produced? Who has them and what are they doing with them? Selling them to the public? throwing them in the trash?

Lol. No, it means GM doesn't have them under lock and key like the LS7.R's intake. Good luck finding so much as a picture of that apart.

I don't know the exact number, but most C5-R manifolds are in the hands of privateer C5-R teams racing in Europe. We have a few pieces left to make more, or we can manufacture more pieces.
