ms4 guys inside
hey guys, just curious as to what you all are trapping cam only? i went to the track the other night and on my best pass "which was shitty do to track prep" i only trapped 112.99mph with an ls6 intake full exhaust, full boltons an ms4. does this sound right??? the cars is tuned also. it just seems a little low to me. any input or ideas of what may be wrong? or is this normal? btw i was only spinning to 6400rpms due to stock rod bolts but i still think it should have trapped higher than that.
thanks

M6 or auto? It is hard to judge trap speed off of a "shitty pass". I never got to the track w/ my MS4, but it was noticably faster than the TR230 it replaced. My car trapped between 115-118 w/ the old cam and I think the MS4 should have trapped a bit faster. But, if you have an auto that's probably not a bad trap speed. Either way I wouldn't sweat it till you get a good clean pass.

it's an m6 but even though it was a shitty pass i thought that woouldn't effect the trap speed??? the 112.99 was the higest trap of the night and the other 2 passes were 111.1mph and 111.3mph do you guys think thoes extra 400rpms would bring my trap speed down 4-5 mph?

udlose99ta on here is trapping 119-120 M6 with boltons, MS4 and a mail order tune.
His car also has well over 100k miles. Your trap seems very low. I don't know what the possible causes are for that but I'd check the tune just to be sure.
