Default Hey Guys What Do You Think???

I also posted this in the drag racing section.
I went to the track last night. My previous best was 13.750@103.33 with a 2.146 60'.That was with a lid and a loudmouth catback on 275/40/17 street tires and it dynoed at 317/330. Then i added a 228/224 cam,LS6 intake, ported TB,FTRA pacesetter LT's TSP ORY and 4.10 gears with 315 BFG DR'sand it dynoed at 380/370. it was tuned but the tuner said he could not get it dead on because i had open headers.Last night i ran a 13.104@110.50 with a 2.073 60'. Although it was tuned it still runs like crap. Surges, wants to kill every time i come to a stop and runs pig rich,so rich you can see the exhaust fumes.Any ideas why i didn't pick up any more? Is my trap speed and ET on par? To me the ET seems low for the trap. Oh the clutch is still the 114,xxx mile stocker and the DR's had about 20# with a med. burnout.

All night long the gear changes were a nightmare. No grinding but on some passes i just could not get into gear the 2-3 and 3-4 were the worst and it will pop out of fourth if i don't hold it in. After my last pass the clutch was about halfway to the floor. any ideas?
sorry this was so long lol

Well if your not getting clean shifts your not gonna get good E/T's.

You need to take care of the clutch/hydraulic issues & get that thing tuned.

Sounds like a combination of things... drill mod the master, wrap and reroute the clutch line to protect it from heat. If you still have the 4th gear pop-out issue it's probably the typical bent 3/4 shift fork issue.
