Start the car a couple times and turn it off, takes a few cycles to go out.

Mine came on today after driving for 210 miles. I filled it up and the light didn't go out until I started and stopped the engine 3 times.

A FYI, from what I've learned, there's a few different lights that won't just go off right away, it takes a few cycles.

My low oil light sensor stayed on after my H&C,but install I also don't have A/C after H&C work got done but oh well. They say there's a sensor of course that measures the oil level in the pan and if it gets too low it stays stuck and needs to be replaced. At least thats what I was told. Either way I know my car needs half a quart of oil at @ 1400-2000 miles.

Turn the key halfway and hold the odometer button until the low oil light goes out.

That is how you reset it.

Anything is possible with these cars. For it to get "stuck" implies that it has a moving part, and it doesn't. Its just contacts that sense fluid level.

But my oil light has come on 20 times, all because of actual LOW OIL. And it always resets. Now, my friend removed my starter once and pulled the wire that goes to the sensor in the oil pan and the light would stay on all the time. I just got a new plug, spliced it in to the old wird and it was fixed. Check the wire and the plug, make sure the 4 metal leads in the plug that clips onto the sensor are all making contact and that none have been pulled through.
