on some the ribs brake on the pulley, also they are somewhat a pain in the *** to put on....unless your doing some sort of work already in the front of your car the small gain is usually not worth the time

You don't gain all that much for the price of them. There's better things to buy for the money.

don't do it unless you are getting a cam, then install at the same time since you will be removing the stock one.

I'm throwing one on right now because I'm doing heads/manifold/tb so I figured I might as well. Agree with everyone else though, they don't seem to post much in the way of power gains. Texas Speed basically threw in the belts with the pulley so that made it a little sweeter. My friend does swear that his made a big difference. Oh well.

Eventually you get to the point where you're looking for every last bit of power and you've run out of things to bolt on, then it'll probably be an appealing option.

those are good numbers. Im thinking if you made that power without an underdrive pulley and just stock port n polished 241 heads, imagine what higher comp 5.3 heads will do and I have a pulley.

now my only question is, are your 3.73s in the 10 bolt or something else.

becuase even if they are I think I can make those kind of #s

I don't think I'd personally hang my hat on that statement...it didn't do anything for my mileage.
