rear end; 3.42 gears Have a 98 Z and I'm starting to hear a little thud under 10mph...sounds like I broke a tooth and its slowly going to get worse!
I currently have 2.73 gears but am a bit unaware of exactly what size carrier I have (I think series 3).
I'm going to a shop to get this confirmed, but I'm sure this is my case and I am best to fix this sooner than later.
If anyone is out there looking to get rid of a stock rear end (complete, as I don't want to change series, nor play with changing just the gears), get at me!
