becoming a beginner at self tuning...
what is the best way to learn how to tune yourself? What are good things to read, and what methods are preferred?
from a cursory glance, I figure either LS1edit or HPtuners... wideband... a friend of mine in Oregon started using a Holley 950 commander on his 89 GTA, and seems to be having luck going that route.
what are some good reads? either online or in book form?
what is the easiest way to learn it?
i've considered buying a cheap laptop, so I assume that there is software and cables I can use specifically for use of said laptop, also including data logging, etc.
I've also seen some other things though I cannot recall where I saw them ... possibly just browsing through here one day.
I'd like to learn, makes more sense in the long run for me to be able to do it myself.
