I used the 1969 badges on the grill and front fenders. I used a 1970 badge on the rear because it fit in the space where the orginal 4th gen badge was located. The 1969 Z/28 badge does not fit in that small space. I never did care for the 4th gen badges. I got mine from Rick's 1st Gen in Athens, Georgia. They have a big mail order catalog with original and knock off 1st Gen parts.

I think the spoiler goes pretty good with that hood. Any other hood, and I think it wouldnt look as good. To everyone their own I guess.

Thanks for the kind words sir...Most have liked the look of the car some have not..I realized that you can't please everybody..I wanted this car to be a little different than all the thousands of them that look the same except for color..so to each his own..it has won some trophies at shows ...including the G11 Camaro/Firebird Gathering..

To really set off the rear and accentuate the wide look the wing provides would be some 17X11 or 18x10's for the rear wheels. Almost like the Dick Harrell cars.

The car has 275/40/17s and 315/35/17s on 9 1/2 inch and 11 inch wide ZR1 wheels..you can't get anything wider than that under the car without tubbing it.. I went with the old school cowl hood instead of the sonoco hood cause I didn't want it to be a DH knockoff..there may be another one like it on the road some place but I have not seen it yet..I like a unique look that you don't see everyday .. I love the DH cars and probaby have seen all of them that have been built by GMMG ... but like the majority of us I do not have a spare $115K available for a hot rod and would not want to try and pass my ride off as one anyway ..

To me this was the best looking DH car that they built. I love the custom paint job..the photo does not do this car justice at all..

Use WD40 and a micro fiber cloth it will not hurt the paint..then wash with lots of soapy water..
