Staff Project Comments & Discussion - Questions about the LS1TECH Pink's Car

I was wondering what the motor plans are? Also, is there any idea what year mustang the Camaro will be competing against? Is it against maybe a Terminator, built Fox body, 05+ GT?? What are goals for the car as far as ET's? Is it going to be NA, FI, be built for a nice large shot of Nitrous? Or is this all being kept hush hush so the competition won't find out? I think thats about all LOL :chug:

I think they are wanting to keep the motor plans hush hush, and for good reason. If I remember right, I believe the competition is an '00 GT.

I know a lot of people think Pinks is stupid or whatever, but personally I love the show (especially any episode with a 4th gen in it) and can not wait to see this episode!

I agree this is gonna be a interesting episode to watch. Anyone know who the mustang belongs to, isnt it a mustang forum or something.

i was hoping we'd be taking shots at an 03 cobra. I think a KB cobra and a forged h/c 346 with juice would be a good comp.

So I looked through the first pages and it looks like a site called blue oval corral in Florida.

So I typed 'blue oval corral Florida' in google and it sent me to the site and sure enough on the front of the home page is a bad ass Mustang yadda yadda yadda... I click on the forums to see if I can see what they are saying about the upcoming race.

This may seem weird, but every section I clicked on in the forum was just threads of porn! Paris Hilton naked, Lindsey Lohan getting dirty, etc....

That is cool that you guys are going to be on the show. Now my question is, aren't there some guidelines on what e.t. your car is supposed to be in? I thought they tried to only run cars that were close in the quarter? Maybe that was just for the big competition they did. I suppose if you line up with a mustang his hood duct won't work and he will want 12 cars on the second run. :jest:

We all know the faster car doesn't always win on this show. (it would be in the bag) It is going to come down to who can play the game. Either way, you wouldn't catch me lining up against our crew.

There is a minimum ET to keep out slow cars.
