Well, the TA is down for a heart transplant, so I've been racin the GN alot lately...Its not the fastest thing on the street or anything, but I put some MT DR's on it and it will DEAD HOOK a lil kit right out the gate on the street....
Friend of mine has a 99 Z28 M6 bolt on car, with a lil kit. We've raced probably 8 times and I'd say we've split the winnings. I always get out on him and he pulls back hard.....its usually just a matter of if I can hold it out or not lol.
Raced 2 SBC S-10s, split with them as well. One hooked one didn't....I took the one that didn't lol, I know it runs low 7's/high 6's in the 1/8 so I'm happy with that.
Set a stock C5 M6 out 2 and let him leave.....wasn't as fun as I expected it to be, I had him back by 2nd gear. Look forward to the next race though, I figure he's gonna comeback with a lil more than I can handle :drive:
On straight turbo I outran a Mach 1 with bolts ons and a 100 shot, modded Evo, and some other stuff....
I forgot how fun the ol Buick was until the TA went down :D
