Will hitting a speed bump or something in the road with long tube headers weaken the cylinder heads or crack them?
I hit the black rubber bottom of one of those orange construction barrels with my passenger side header today. It was in the middle of the road and I was probably going about 30. My hand was on the shifter and I could feel the shifter jerk pretty good, so I'm assuming when it hit the header that the whole engine and trans moved because they are all connected.

Yeah headers take all of the beating.
Our race car does pretty big wheelies and 4 of the tubes are collapsed pretty good, one is at least halfway closed and it hit so hard one time that it is pinned against the block but the heads are fine. It's not something you want to happen but if it does it's not a big deal.
