Default scorpion RR

Anyone use the new scorpion RR yet? Its suppose to be a direct replacement and give added HP(less friction) over the stockers.Should i just stay with my stock ones? Mine are fine on my heads and cam ,but just wanted to hear your opinions

I am curious as well. I also seen they aren't a direct bolt on for 97/98, I can only assume for valve cover clearance?

really the only reason i would get them is to quiet my valvetrain down, but in the end 400 is alot to make something quieter.

Stock ones are pretty well engineered IMO, unless you got a big cubed motor, or something absolutely radical then i would change the RR to accomodate other parts.

I haven't seem much feedback on these, but I have read that they produce the narrowest wipe pattern of any rocker out there. Several vendors have found this as well. The stockers have a horrible wipe pattern which is why I installed the Cranes on my heads. So this should help reduce valve guide wear. This alone may be worth the price of admission, and hp benefit would just be frosting on the cake. I don't base all my decisions on the hp increase, there are other factors to consider as well.

I'm also curious. Probably gonna take a while for people to give feedback, though. These are pretty new...

Someone on Hardcroels1.com did a comparison. I think it was like 1-2rwhp difference. Probably actually a 0 gain mod.
