Default question about map sensor

i think my map sensor is messed up because my manifold pressure is like 80 or 90 at idle and its making the car dump fuel. i wanted to know if i should buy one from gm or just get one from the auto parts store?

well i pulled the intake this morning and could not find any vacuum leaks all of the hoses looked ok. the only one im not sure about is the tiny one but it looked ok on the parts i could see. im not sure if the map sensor would just mess up and read wrong, but a new one is 90 dollars and if i take it out of the package i cant return it, so i dont know where to start. i would really like to have the problem fixed this weekend, not having a car ****** sucks.
