does anyone have the part number for the 1LE LCA Bushings? i found this:
1LE rear lower control arm bushings (93) = 10164152
but it says its only for 93 model years. is it any different for every other year? is it difficult to install? thanks

I can help you with those.... $52 for the set of 4. Just need pressed in (not hard if you have the press and proper sized dies to push on the bushing sleeve.

So those bushings can't be put in using any easier method? Do you have to use a press.

They're press fit..... Might be able to do it with a really big bench vice and a big socket set (like 3/4" drive sizes).

So if we do have a smaller bench vice and maybe a 1/2" socket set we would be screwed trying to put these in?

Would the next best thing be, to just buy the LCAs w/ bushings already in them?

Get the bushings and go to your nearest machine shop.. its easy to do with the right tools.. they shouldn't charge very much

You could just have a shop press them in for you.

I thought the bushings that Sam was talking about are the Moog bushings???

Also Southern Orange County Kalifornia does not have an abundance or hardly even one machine shop... It just isn't the same as the rest of the country...

I used these directions to do the job and they worked out great.

I drilled out the rubber material on the old ones and bought a big 3/4" socket at Autozone that fit the rim of the bushing to pound on with a BFH.

That's how I did mine. Worked fine.

Any brake/shock shop will press out the old ones and press in the new ones at something like $25 each hole...

inspect when done to make sure they're in sufficiently and/or not gone past,
and get the shop to make any corrections before you leave.

I'm in Or. Co. So. Cal. and yes, it is different...
