Default rebuild tools questions t56

In this write up I am reading, they mention gear pullers and a countershaft end play tool and dial indicator and a feeler gauge.
What ones did you guys use andwhere can I get these. I tried checking summit and sears and it doesnt look like the right stuff to me from these pics.

Any help would be appreciated

try harbor frieght or northern tools if you want to fabricate your own puller and get the other tools you will need;
but the only other puller i used to get the job done was a snap-on puller... I borrowed it so i dont remember the part number

What ton press is needed for those berings? I just hop if I need a shop for it that they will have a clue what im talking about hehe.

I may have to call one of them, as their web sites dont mention if they fabrcate custom tools.

When I changed my bearings I was using a 20-ton press and even that was tough. So if your bearings look good let them be.

Harborfreight and northern tools don't fabricate tools for you; just to purchase the 3-jaw puller then get some steel straps and drill holes in them to get the distance you need.

I guess I could have but didn't lol...mine was real solid, no movement side to side or up and down.

But the only real way to find out if it is within specs is to check the endplay of the mainshaft and countershaft.
