whats wrong
Just got my new engine installed, but now my speakers wont work so I can't listen to the radio at all. My mechanic said unplugging the battery probably reset everything on my car and that I need to bring it to a dealer to fix it. So I called and asked about it and it's like $100!! Is there any other way to fix this or do I just need to cough up the money?
Also, I didn't want to start another thread, but I noticed my car doesn't shift as hard as it use. I have a shift kit on it (it's an auto) and it use to shift hard on the 1st to 2nd but now it's really really smooth. He had replace the transmission line so could this be why the car is shifting so smooth?

yeah it's a factory radio
the radio and cd player will show it's playing, but nothing comes out of the speakers....just silence. it's almost like I don't have any speakers
what is that light next to the ThecLoc logo?

I'd suggest disconnecting and reconnecting the radio. There may be a loose connection. There may be a loose connection at the amp too. You can disconnect and reconnect it too. Its in the rear passenger side buy the wheel hump.
