I've noticed many of you looking for 98 only three wire temp sensor connectors. Tonite I was looking on Ebay and found THIS

I sent the a question to make sure I would get a 98 specific connector.

yes go to your local junkyard and get a TPS connector from any late model gm car...its the same...

AWSOME! I never knew that. I assume the 98 temp sensor will work with the LT1 gauges with no problem.

What is the output of the 3rd wire. Is it a themistor? Will it work w/ 60's era gauges? Thanks

it has 2 output wires...i couldent get mine to work in my 94, so i bought another sensor and got another plug(2 wire, from any late model gm collant sensor) and put it in the back of the [passenger head..you cant run the pcm and gauge from the same wire for some reason...ythe 98 didnt work for me, so i use 2 sensors now
