Howdy,
just finishing a ls1 / FD RX7 swap. Heads / cam 99 ls1 using some 97 corvette fuel rails (and either 97 or 98 injectors). Will fire if using some starter fluid, but otherwise nothing going on. I was hoping the stock tune would at least let me get it to idle to check things over.

To help me narrow the causes down - do i need to make some changes to the tune (using hp tuner) to account for the injectors, or is that not the reason it won't start?

sounds like you're not getttin any fuel,which is the opposite of what the scenerio would be....it should start and run with the 98 injectors just not very well

have you ck to see if you have power to the injectors

ended up being stuck injectors (they have been sitting for several years). The ol hammer & screwdriver + using a hot wire to untick them. Purrs like a, um, heads / cammed ls1. Thanks for the replies
