Default I'm still sad about my SS

Well just to let you guys know I was driving home from my girls College graduation when some lady ran the red light and hit my car Luckily I hit the brakes and she didn't hit me on the driver side. It's in the body shop and costing her $5,800.00. This is the third time someone(a woman, sorry ladies) has hit me over two yrs. My 98 Z28 was totalled for the same reason. people say I have bad luck w/Camaro's, I say No, I just have a magnet under my hood.LOL! Anyways I just had to let you guys know be careful while driving through intersections because there are many idiots out there especially in SoCal.Thanx Here's a Picture.

Is that the only damage ? Not saying that amount isn't enough and hate to see it because of someone who was probably doing her makeup or reading something. Is there a lot of structural damage under the fender you can't see in the pics ? $5,800 seems like a lot to fix what can be seen.

I don't think it's high. I mean look at it. It is the fender, the front bumper and the hood. Including any structural damage underneath. It sounds right on to me. Are they going to replace the hood or just fix it? Make sure all the gaps are good when you get it back.

5800 is right. paint would be 1500-2k alone for all 3 to be done right.

Well it's all going to be replace w/OEM parts. The only structure damage was the piece that goes across the front of the front bumper which holds the radiator. I forgot the name but a new piece was welded on. The hood and both fenders on each side are damaged because everything went to the right(new cosmetics). I'm getting the whole OEM lights(headlights, foglights, corner lights). But no unibody damage(Good thing I bought a tower brace)or engine damage. It's also getting alignment and electrical done. Trust me I'm going to make sure everything is align and straight. So $5,800.00 is about right. By the way this lady stated to me and the cop that she could not process the red light, something about a brain scan and they couldn't find out what was wrong w/her. My mouth dropped and the cop could not believe his ears. These people shouldn't even be allowed to drive. I'm more traumatize now then ever before. I just hope you guys dont have to go through this kind of situation. Thanx!
