i was talking to a buddy of mine last night who has a 02 t/a, and he was telling that he dynoed his car stock and put down 285hp at the rear. it seems a little low to me but i guess it seems right sense its at the rear right?

Automatic transmissions tend to show more power loss through the drivetrain than a manual, hence the lower AT dyno numbers, so if he's an auto, that is about dead on for where an LS1 should be at if it's completely bone stock. If he's a manual however...... definately low numbers. Those should run closer to 305 or so.
