Street Racing & Kill Stories - 07 c6 zo6 Vs allngn_c5 Fun Fun Fun

I saw an older couple driving a Red c6 zo6 yesterday. He went flying by me and his wife waved and smiled. I caught up waved with a smile. They weren't smiling or waving anymore. I downshifted to 2nd and held it at nearly 5000 rpms hoping he would jump. He does, and I floor it, grab 3rd and put my foot to the floor, going into 4th I am 1 1/2 cars ahead of him and I shut her down due to traffic. Now I will be the first to admit that I don't think he gave 100% for a couple of reasons, he's an older gentleman with his wife in car, car is new not even broken in I am guessing, and I have beaten and lost to c6 zo6's and the wins didn't happen until we were into 5th gear and really moving. Either way I gave him the jump and was able to pull even and get ahead of him by 1 1/2 cars. I know he wasn't shifting at 7,000 rpms so that is probably why I did much better then I expected. With all that being said he got off the eway and I followed him into a gas station. Chatted for a minute about the cars and took off. Very nice guy, the car ended up being his retirement gift to himself. What a gift. He was impressed with my car but couldn't understand how I could drive a car that is so loud. I simply replied you get used to it.

That's good one man. The guy was very nice, he didn't deserve any lip from me. He asked to see under the hood. I opened her and he had a million questions. His wife butted in and said nice meeting you to me and reminded her husband they had somewhere to be. He told her to have a seat and started asking about my car. I told him about LG Motorsporst and how they installed aftermarket heads, cam, ported intake, full exhaust, and every other bolt on that is available. He was impressed. We shook hands and parted ways. Hope to run into him sometime when his wife isn't with him and he's put a few more miles on the car. I advised that he install a CAI asap. He said sure, his son could probably put one on for him. Oops, now he'll have too much Horsepower for me. Those damn c6 z's only need a cai and headers to become supernatural. Can't wait for the next Corvette with the factory supercharger. That should blow everyone out of the water.

Nope sorry ..... I really need to start carrying my camera with the tripod again. My vids don't turn out too well when I don't have a passenger for recording the race. The tripod works well with recording straight ahead.

well I have a good vid that was taken last night with myself and an 03 cobra I will post tonight or tomorrow with a story when I can do a little video editing so it doesn't look too bad.

Found another red c6 z, but it wasn't the same guy. The owner of this one was a complete dick. Cut me off when I tried to get next to him and then started brake checking me. I couldn't believe what a prick this guy was. Can't say all c6 z owners are cool.
