Dropping oil pan #$@#$
so i thought i was going to drop the oil pan down this afternoon and tap it for my oil lines... well
whats the fastest way to get the pan off, i think unbolting the motor mounts then jackin up the motor would do the trick, but were talking 4-5 inches of clearence..
any advice would help!

I really doubt you'll have enough clearance to drop the pan by just unbolting the motor mounts and jacking up the engine/tranny. You'll hit the floorboard and only have a few inches of clearance between the oil pan and K-member. You have to lower the K-member a bit in order to have enough clearance to drop the pan. Good luck, it's no picnic.
