Anyone know how much you can safely flycut?

Default Anyone know how much you can safely flycut?

Is .110 too much for a street car? thanks

The pistons in the Ls1's are about .250" thick so .110 would be the most that i would go. You could go a little deeper depending on the size of the cutter, but you could run into problems with getting to close to the top ring land.

that's good news. Steven called me and told me that .110 would be fine too. I can't wait to hear it. He said yall were gonna fire it up either tonight or tomorrow

I went .100 on one of my first H/C set ups and the machinist also told me that the stock pistons were .250 so you are in good shape.

Steven and Josh will hook ya up.

I heard you finally you sold the Vig TC. I'm glad it worked out and thanks for waiting man.

Yup Donny got the converter yesterday. He was tellin me about your car, it's evil man! I was tryin to convince him to put in small cam like a TR224 with the converter I think that would be an awesome setup for him
