Default P1637??

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has any idea what this code means? My predator says "P1637 Generator-L-Terminal Circuit." When I got out of work tonite and was getting ready to come home, it came on and my volts started to drop. When I revved the engine, it went up. As soon as I let off, it went back down. I just changed the alternator about a week ago, the battery is under warranty and I had it checked and it is good. I dont understand? I checked the battery for loose terminals when I got home but they are tight as can be. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Maybe the alternator is no good? I got it at autozone, it has a lifetime warranty on it. Maybe Ill take it off and get another one?

It's the one wire plug on top of the alternator. When you changed out the alternator it got damaged somehow. That wire has very little play and any tug will damage it.........
