When I was a kid I had got swimmers ear ( **** that **** hurt ) but they gave me special ear drops that dry the water out of your ears. You should be able to pick it up from a drug store.

^^^^ What he said!

If that doesnt work then try some peroxide. My mom is a nurse and used to clean my ears out with it when I was a kid. Lay down on your side and pour some in and let it sit and bubble for a while. Its amazing the crap that you get out by doing that!

You know what they use to clean out the nostrils of a new born? They sell them at grocery stores and you can use that with some ear drops to usually get wax cleared out... you may also try the pharmacy b/c they probably have some OTC stuff you can use without going to the Dr.

Alcohol... just a few drops, let it sit for about 10-20 secs then drain. Works for me when that **** happens.

I prefer Auro-Dri over Swimear but both do the trick.

The wax remover is way too thick anyway and you have to use more water to clear it out

Alcohol worked for me except for a few times when I was a kid. Had to go to the doc and they basically power flushed the wax and crap out of my ears!

I have chronic ear wax build up. Have had since I was a kid. Tubes, eustacian surgery ... nothing worked.

Best method is a squeeze ball with warm water. Keep flushing your ear canal out with moderate to light pressure. Don't be aggressive or you will push the wax further into your ear or even hurt your drum.

Angle the tip so that you flush teh walls of your canal. It will amaze you the huge ball that will come out.

I've never had good luck with any drops, peroxide or alcohol.

At the Health Center on Campus at Texas State they will shoot hot water (not too hot) into your ears with a small plastic syringe looking thing,
gets all sorts of crap out, you would be surprised.

The candles work, or simply pour peroxide in your ear, let it bubble, swab with qtip, roll over and let drain. then pour alcohol and repeat steps like the peroxide. Drain and do the next ear. The alcohol dries the peroxide. It has never failed me

When I first moved to texas about 2 years ago my hearing started to go. I tried cleaning my ears with everything I could and nothing would work. I ended up going to the docter(med center) and paid $100 because I didnt have insurance at the time. She used some of the ear wax remover stuff and then went in with the warm water......THEN SHE SCRAPED THE STUFF OUT....OMFG DID THAT HURT! She went in and used this little scraper thing and scraped deep deep deep deep in my ear. I CRIED! BUT I can hear now. Never had the problem before and nothing after that.

DO NOT TRY THE SCRAPING BY YOURSELF YOU CANT SEE TO DO IT AND COULD REALLY MESS YOUR EARS UP!

WISH YOU LUCK....o wait you can see you just can hear

i had this happen once and nothing worked except for sticking a toothpick in my ear and clearing the wax with it. It wasn't the smartest thing to do but i couldn't take anymore of it, good luck getting it cleared.
