Default rear seat removal

Anybody removed their rear seat and seat belt housings on a semi permenant basis? Is there an excessive noise issue when daily driving?

I've had my seat removed for a few months. Didn't notice a difference.

Had mine out for years, carpeted over everything a few days ago because you could see the bolt holes, etc. No extra noise that I ever noticed.

There is no extra noise unless you dont put the seat belt fastener bolts back in the floorboard.

Does anyone know what those black brackets are with the 2 bolt holes in them that hang off the seatbelt strap are used for? I'm replacing mine and I can't remember how they go.

i removed mine, mainly for an excuse not to let more that one person ride with me. Admit it, you look gay riding four deep in a camaro lol. I thought i noticed a little more noise. My seatbelts are still in just the seats and the backing are removed.

I had my seats removed for a while, but had to sell the car. I never had much additional noise though.

I haven't had the back seats/belts in since 1996...I would put them back in, but I kinda like not being able to take the kids out in it! I just put in new carpet from Year One/ACC and there is no noise at all...
