Canadian Members - CDN PERF 402 makes 785 RWHP-no meth!!!!

I just tuned a Canadian Performance 402 with a JT trim in Manitoba yesterday. The belt was slipping and we could only muster about 13-14psi out of the car. We also couldn't get the meth to work properly either so it was a non factor. Anyway at a very safe conservative tune( which means no timing and a 10.5 afr) it made 785 rwhp-this is on a superflow dyno as well-they read alot lower than a Dynojet. We tried a smaller pulley and new belt but the powersteering tensioner broke. We have a new one coming as well as maybe upgrading the meth setup and the car should be over 830 easy. The customer may upgrade to bigger cam in future as well-this thing idles like stock!!!!

Good numbers, wait till he gets the meth hooked up right. It looks like it will have to be another weekend for the dyno bro. i have having too much fun in the car. Going to the Falls&USA for the weekend. I will get a hold of you Arun next week.

Hi Hooper, I just got a call... there on the dyno again in Winnepeg... 845rwhp and counting. We need to change the meth kit and she'll go 900++ :judge:

845rwhp was what we ended up with, 17' total timing AFR 11.2-1......we would see well over 900 had we intalled the Alky control meth kit and cranked up the timing....all this was done on 91 octane! Arun is an awesome tuner, Dave builds killer engines....but damn Dave whats with the pussy cam??? This thing sounds stock!! haha.....j/k, if it wasn't for the whine of the blower this thing would be a true sleeper!!

We gotta work Rosie up a little at a time, like 300HP at a time LOL. I bet next year its F1R time and 1100+! We have a good little 'great white north' connection going on here. I'll be sure to send people in your area your way. Thanks for the kind words!
