4 day detail... (56K warning)
Work got in the way...so did my daughter.
But I got it done for Friday.
Detailed the hell out of the Trans Am.
Clay bar, wash down with a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water.
Did a light cut with some Menzerna using the PorterCable. Wiped off.
Then polished with Prima Amigo using a polishing pad on the PorterCable. Wiped off.
Then two coats of that Victorias Concours wax.
Beginning...
Swirls...
Materials...
After clay bar and wipe down....
Working on the cut...
Wheels...
Afters...
Only thing that gets me is the orangepeel of the factory paint.
That and the car is actually driven, so the front shows it.
What do you think??

Thanks!
I need to figure out what to do about the TTII's. They have a bit haze to them even after the polish. Used Mother's.
Any ideas??? Or should I just take them to a wheel shop and have them clean them up?

They are just a little dull. Which really doesn't bug me that much. Not a huge fan of 'bling' if you will on my cars.
But I would like them to shine the way they are supposed to.

You could try wet sanding them with a very fine sandpaper then polishing them again, I haven't tried it on mine so I can't tell you how well it works but I have heard of people doing it.

Good thing I live in Jefferson county.
Actually a pretty good guy. Complimented the car several times and thanked me for not coming in late and loud.
