Question t56 short stick

I bought the T56 short stick from WS6 store. Are these o.k. or do I have to buy the whole shifter thing. Has anybody used this shifter? It says, "Not only will this shaft work with the stock and stock Hurst shifters, it will also work with many different aftermarket shifters as well, including: Hurst Billet Plus, Pro 5.0, SLP, & Kirban."

it will work fine with your shifter, but I would recommend on getting a new shifter and outing the short stick on.

while on the subject...can I get some of you guys to post a pic. or so of your shifter setup with the details of your setup? I'm looking to get one and I'm undecided on what to go with.

i installed a short throw on my pro 50 and it took some time to get used to. it was a totally different feel. it went from the having that comfy slant to the left feel to being moved over to the right straight up feel. at first i didnt like how it felt, but it did improve my shifting. iv never missed 3rd yet
