Default 500rwhp

I just bought a 2000 WS6 with 20k miles on it about three months ago. I have the SLP lid, Pacesetter LT's, and a Magnaflow exhaust. I was curious on what I would need to do to be looking at about 500rwhp without nitrous, a turbo, a supercharger or anything like that. Thanks.

More cubic inches would do it.

Try a search!

You would HAVE to get a stroker.

Peace,
Craig.

Go over to the Gen 3 internal engine section and read PatrickGs post. He just put up a 500 hp build post.

It can be done, but it all depends on how much you're looking to spend. Dollar for dollar would be ahead to do forced induction, but I know you don't want to do that. Looks like you'll be going for a cam, heads, headers, manifold...such and so forth. Maybe even think about stroking it.

A LOT and u def wont be able to drive around as easily, due to the cam your probably gonna have to install in it. since u say u have only had it for about 3mos, i think u should read up more on the LS1 and maybe youll find out another route you will like. on another note, a 427 would get you there or maybe a 402, but youll easily be over 10k....at least i was.
