Thumbs up downsizing the wire harness

Hey you guys since in reality all the dozen or so pink wires for the coils and injectors are basically going to one circuit, the ignition, wouldn't it be just as easy to group them all into one line and fuse?Of course if one coil blew a fuse it would be harder to isolate it.But how often does an injector or a coil blow one of those little suckers?Seems to me as though smaller might be better sometimes.

well i was using a truck harness, but what i did was streamline the whole harness, removing emmisions wires and stuff. then basically whatever was left that went into the fuseblock was power, ground, fuel pump trigger, or IGN. so i cut the plug off and started soldering like wires together. Then i got a 5ft chunk of 5-wire, 14ga trailer wiring, and that gave me a good heavy, color coded harness. these i simply put into the factory fuseblock.
