Another LT1->LS1 Conversion (pics)
Well, its in. With some wiring left and some fuel parts in the mail, she should be about ready to fire. Here are some pics.

Looking great man, keep us updated on the progress.
My 97's gettin' an LSx too. Speartech will re-wire your LS1 harness for plug/play operation into the 97' chassis.

Ive always thought about an LS2 swap but Im just going to get a newer LS1 T/A one of these fine days/months/years

The harness is a modified 99 harness. There is a guy on here you can PM. He helped me out alot. The LT1 body harness is pretty much a stand alone harness as it is. You just have to basically give switched and constant power to the LS1 PCM and you are good to go. PM me and I can give you his name for future information.
I also did a custom gauge cluster with Autometer gauges, so hooking up the factory gauge cluster didn't need to be done. Which made things ALOT easier on the wiring. I will post pics of that too.
As far as it "screaming", I'm hoping to put 460-470 to the wheels on motor only through the 6 speed. We'll see I guess.
