Angry F*@cking Bell Housing !!

Trying to get the clutch out and the damn bell housing wont come off. I got all the bolts out. I can move the bottom of it out about 2 or 3 mm. I cant fit anything on top to pry it off. Am I missing something? The tranny has a metal dowl pin, does the bell housing also attatch to a dowl? I am at a stand still here fellas. Anything you guys got would help. Thanks

Yes, the bell housing is on 2 dowels. Make sure you got all the bolts out, and the remove the starter, put a 2x4 over the starter hole, and get the biggest friggin hammer you can find and beat on the 2x4.

My bellhousing was frozen to the dowels as well. I beat the crap out of a 2x4 and it came off... eventually.

I used a rubber mallet on the bellhousing and it fell off after a few whacks.
