Default ported my stock tb now high idle wtf

tonight i ported my tb in my 2001 ws6 ta... took it all apart and cleened it all up and just ported... and did a quick polish... when i start the car it idle about 900 rpm... themi rev it... or drive it around and when i stop it will come down slowly and then sit at about 1500 for 2-3 sec then return to 900rpm... any ideas... or will it just tune it self out... thanks mark

You didn't enlarge the hold in the throttle blade did you?

drive it around a bit, it should re learn the new air. if it doesnt go away after 5 driving cycles then contact a local speed shop
