just did mine and using rotex kevlar gold pads,
only have 100 miles on them so far so I can't really say their better than before nor comment on dusting. The car stops and they work fine, quiet no squeal and a little groan but i'm still wearing the zinc off new rotors and they get quieter each time.

got my rotors from ebay, drilled/slotted/zinc for < $200 shipped all 4. Blanks are even cheaper. Sorry to say but the sponsors need to start carrying more moderately priced stuff especially for brakes. I was really disappointed when I started pricing rotors because i wanted drilled rotors to complement chrome zr1's and polished calipers. Not everyone wants to spend $1000 on baer/brembo rotors or a c5 upgrade. I heard autozone was carrying our rotors fairly cheap and they were good but i think you would still do better for all 4 from ebay stores.

Slotted/Drilled are not an upgrade.
Stick with blanks.

I got slotted, for looks, and hawk pads. If your not a hardcore stopper and turner the autozone specials will b fine. Although the no dust ceramics are nice simply for the fact of no or lil dust.

AC Delco makes reputable rotors, they have slotted and cross drilled! Hawk pads work too! That would make a reasonable price combined!
