Default Ugh....Having ACL surgery tomorrow

I have a torn ACL and cartilage, and I am not looking forward to surgery. It is knee surgery in case you are unaware. Tyler (Powered by Satan) says it is not that bad. I will keep yall updated. I won't be walking very far for a couple of weeks.

one of my buddies had it done, just look on the bright side. Your knee will thank you and you get a prescription to some "feel good" pills.

Having no cartilage sounds painful, and is a possibility in my case. My mother just had a partial knee replacement. Bad knees run in the family.

Injured it a 1.5 yrs. ago playing basketball. My knee pivoted on itself with my foot planted on the ground. It got better, but never 100%. I finished it off 2 weeks ago after playing with the dog. I was actually cleaning my truck when I step on it the wrong way. I wish I had a better story than that.

I had mine done almost a year and a half ago and can't even tell. I tore my cartiledge too, the best advice I can give is to STAY on the crutches as long as the doctor says so the cartiledge can heal and be sure to do all of the rehab for the first month, it's usually the hardest.

Sorry to hear about it, hope you're feeling better. Plenty of time to get on tech though!

My cartilage was so f-ed up, he had to remove the damaged part. So I should have a quick recovery because there is no cartilage that needs to heal. The doc said my acl looked like a bomb blew up in my knee. When I screw something up, I do it right!!!

I am happy I will be able to walk again and drive a manual. I only tried driving my Saturn once. Luckily, I know how to drive it without the clutch.
