Eastern Members - I bought a house in RI

Looks like I will for sure be moving up there in the next month or so from Texas. I bought a house in Warwick, RI and will be closing on the house July 27th. Look forward to meeting some of you after I get settled in.

Congrats on the new house and new life out of Houston. I live on Aquidneck Island (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquidneck_Island) (Newport/Middletown) across the bay from there. ~ 20-30 minute drive. Houses are definitely cheaper there compared to here. Plus there is a lot more stores and etc. than here. Hope you will like the change in scenery and welcome to Rhode Island. :)

Congrats. I live in warwick and I love it here. Tons of stuff to do and every store/restaurant imaginable.

The deal was that I would be able to move back south in 3-5 years making 6 figures. I had a hard time passing it up for just coming out of school this May.

I was just in Rhode Island this weekend for the airshow. I love it down there.

My job is in North Kingstown right by Quonset Point. I heard the planes over the phone talking to the boss. :eek2:

I live in Pawtucket, not far from warwick. Although this is RI, nothing is far from warwick.

just built a garage in warick off Post Road. that town has 100x more stuff to do than in my area. the houses out there were priced ridiculously higher then here in eastern CT. i hope you got a steal....

I hope you are just refering to auto repair shops. I have heard a lot of things. :( Luckily I do all my own work.
